Leopold Moyen - Chief Operating Officer
Leopold Moyen is the Plant Manager at Russet House. He grew up in a family that operated a foodservice business, and worked through the ranks as a sales person, wholesaler and then became a partner in the business. Leopold was also involved with the initial start-up of Russet House. He has a Degree in Business with a major in Finance.
Michael Zieger (B.S., A.A.S.) - Vice President Sales
Michael is a dynamic, top-performing Sales Executive with more than 28 years experience in the food industry. Mr. Zieger also manages our U.S. Broker Network. He is an expert in identifying opportunities or creating them from a concept. Mr. Zieger represents Russet House products in the USA and works with vendors to ensure they are receiving the highest quality sweet potato products on the market through customized orders at competitive prices.
Ferdinand Tchounkeu - Quality Assurance Manager
Ferdinand is the Russet House Quality Manager and has a degree in Food Technology from the Engineering School of Valais (University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland). He previously worked as Quality Projects Engineer at Nestle Switzerland, then as Projects' Officer and Manager of the CAC (Certified Allergen Control) Certification Program & Food Services respectively, of the Quebec Food Allergy Association (QFAA). Mr. Tchounkeu has contributed in the writing of the book, Allergen Management in the Food Industry to be published in the months to come. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the Applied Business School HEC Montreal.
Jay Scaife - Director of Product Development
Jay is the Director of Product Development. An honors graduate from the esteemed George Brown Culinary program, Mr. Scaife is also Executive Chef at Windermere House, one of Canada's Iconic Lakefront resorts. Prior to these positions, Mr. Scaife had opened an upscale restaurant in the Bahamas, and had been part of the culinary team at leading restaurants such as La Mer, the Left Bank and Wildfire. He has traveled extensively in the U.S., including the July 2003 guest appearance at the World Famous James Beard Foundation in New York City. Scaife has also taught at the Institute of Culinary Education and the French Culinary Institute in New York City.
Paul Jeffery and Stanley Goodman represent the Russet House Investment Group. Mr. Jeffery and Mr. Goodman are highly experienced and internationally recognized hospitality professionals with a wealth of experience in the food service and lodging industries. They have owned and managed national restaurant chains and have successfully developed luxury resort projects. Mr. Goodman and Mr. Jeffery have served on the boards of directors of leading hospitality associations. Their passionate commitment to outstanding customer service and producing quality products is reflected in the quality of every Russet House sweet potato product.
